Wendi Kroll is the CEO and Founder of Essential HR, Inc., an HR consulting firm focused on employee relations, compliance, and leadership development. With more than 30 years of experience, she partners with business owners and leadership teams to strengthen organizational effectiveness, improve decision making, and build high performing workplaces.

After progressing through roles in benefits, generalist HR, and consulting leadership, Wendi founded Essential HR in 2004 to provide organizations with both compliance expertise and strategic advisory support. She serves as the firm’s Principal Consultant, overseeing a team of HR consultants while continuing to advise clients directly on complex employee relations matters and proactive risk management.

In addition to leading the firm, Wendi works directly with executives and leadership teams as a coach and advisor. Her leadership coaching focuses on helping leaders lead themselves effectively so they can lead others with clarity, accountability, and confidence. Her approach is practical and grounded in real business situations, helping leaders apply insight to day-to-day leadership challenges.

Earlier in her career, Wendi worked as an auto claims adjuster with State Farm Insurance, developing strong skills in negotiation, problem solving, and managing difficult conversations that continue to inform her consulting and coaching style.
